Step 1: Creating an account

Any user planning to use the administration tools will have to create their own account. This is accomplished by visiting the Biochemistry Admin Page and by clicking on Sign Up in the right bar in the New User? panel. To prevent robots from surreptitiously filling out the account application, a captcha needs to be entered first. Simply write the captcha code into the input line and click on Enter Request. On the next page, fill in your name and contact information, incuding a valid e-mail address. Then click on Create a new Account. The accounts are organized by e-mail address, which is assumed to be unique. If you attempt to create an account for an existing e-mail address, an error is generated, indicating that the e-mail address is already taken. In such a case, proceed to Step 3: Resetting a lost password.
